Wishcast Wednesday and 52 Photo Project

Hello my fellow wishers and dreamers, today over at Jamie Ridler's Studios and Bella's 52 Photo Projects we are sharing our wishes and images. Today's prompts are: What do you wish to take a break from and a picture from "the blue hour" which is between dawn and sunrise or sunset and dusk.  So here we go.

What I wish to take a break from is the constant worry that my husband is going to end our marriage.  It has been weighing on my mind for the last FEW years as he struggles with his feelings and doubts.  I have been patient, understanding and hopeful but underneath it all is the CONSTANT fear that he is going to leave and that I am being a fool for waiting him out.

To say this situation has effected all areas of my life would be an understatement.  I wish to get to a place where I'll be ok within myself no matter what happens, it sucks giving this kind of power over yourself to someone else.  For the rest of the summer I wish to to take a break from fear and worry and enjoy each day as it comes with my husband and with myself.  I know this won't be easy and I'll have to remind myself everyday but this day is all about the magic of wishes and this is mine.

My iphone camera and photo applications have been my constant creative companion these days where my physical (just found out I have arthritis in my knee) and mental energy have been low.  It is really helping me train my eye for composition.  I just wish there was a way to print these pics in high quality but I don't think there is yet.

This leads me to Bella's 52 Photo Projects prompt.  I actually love the "blue hours" though I am rarely awake for the earlier dawn to sunrise hours I am always glancing up at the sky in the latter sunset to dusk hours.  I took the above photos over a few days loving the brilliant pinks one day and the subtle glow left behind some clouds the next.  I like the time when the sun has just gone down even though I guess technically it is not quite "blue" yet.  I love the glow left at that moment.

What are you wishing to take a break from today?  As you wish for yourself, I am also wishing for you.

May this day find you and yours well.
Namaste,
Karen

I am so sorry that you have all this pain. Sending prayers your way. As you wish for yourself I wish for you also...but I wish for you even more. I too have had problems with my marriage so I know the pain...the sense of being uncertain, without power...

As Karen wishes for herself, I wish for her also. May you surround yourself with love and security that starts from within.

So honest and open, you are brave!
My heart goes out to you *hugs*
Try and stay positive, even if it is only for yourself.
Stress reflects too much negative energy that you do not need.
Even through all this, you take beautiful photos :]
Maybe, that is your calling?
As you wish for yourself, I wish for you as well.
Take good care of yourself <3

As always, your sky images conjure up so many moods and feelings ... but especially a sense of spaciousness and time to unfold ... this is my wish for you as you work with the practice of letting go of worry ... it keeps us locked into the future when life is right now in this moment.

How interesting we both are working with knee issues! I finally went in and had mine x-rayed and all is fine so $250 for the advice to take 2 aleve and call the doctor in the morning.

As you wish for yourself, so I wish also. Sending you love and light and relief from all forms of pain ~

It's hard to concentrate on the images when I read your story. I understand where you are right now. For years, I held things together when my husband was doing everything he could to make the marriage implode. Finally, he misbehaved after being warned that he'd had his last chance. I ordered him out. . . and was devastated that he complied. It took a LONG time, but I can honestly say that it's better not to live walking on eggshells and waiting for the other shoe to drop (how's that for triteness?). Unfortunately, when you are still committed to the "we," it's hard to get in touch with what's best for "me."
